Personal injury recovery led Kate (she/her) to massage therapy. Bodywork proved to be a powerful guide in her own healing. This experience shapes the client-centered partnerships she forms today through her trauma-informed, evidence-based approach. Kate received her AOS in Massage Therapy from Pacific College of Health and Science and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Marymount Manhattan College. She completed internships at both Joffery Ballet School and NYU Langone's Initiative for Women with Disabilities. Kate is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, an instructor and clinic supervisor at Pacific College, and holds a certification in MaMassage for Labor and Postpartum massage.
Kate has always been drawn to the power and potential of the human body. With a background in both dance and yoga, kinetic exploration informs and inspires her bodywork. Her aim is to move and work with each individual client, drawing from Eastern and Western techniques to help them better understand their body, reduce the effects of stress and find relief from chronic pain.
Kate’s practice serves movement practitioners, new mothers, nine-to-fivers, freelancers and more.

I had my first ever massage experience with Kate, who was thorough, knowledgeable, and super attentive. She made me feel at ease from the start, which I really appreciated (I wasn't sure what to expect!). She addressed my problem areas and even gave me yoga advice during our debrief session.
I could sense Kate's calm energy immediately. It was clear she was a professional, and listened to what I had to say about my body. She thoughtfully asked about essential oils. The massage was incredible. I could feel the tension in my muscles melting away. Before I left, Kate offered a few stretches I could do at home for my shoulders. Afterward I felt like I was walking on a cloud!
I honestly have to say it was one of the best massages I have ever had. Kate took the time to talk with me beforehand to discuss my expectations and problem areas. All were addressed during the massage and I left feeling relaxed and amazing. Kate gives a very focused massage and the time I was there felt longer than the 60 minute session I booked.
