Hi, I’m Kate!

I’m a licensed massage therapist in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, and I’ve been doing hands-on bodywork for over a decade. My approach is evidence-based, trauma-informed, and pain-free. Whatever brings you in, my goal is simple: I want you to feel safer and more at ease in your body.

I specialize in nervous system support, postpartum care, chronic pain, and trauma-informed massage therapy.

Why I Do This Work

I found massage therapy while recovering from an injury of my own. A massage therapist helped me in a way that changed my relationship with my body, and I wanted to be able to do that for other people.

I keep my practice intentionally small and personal. I’m the person who answers your email, sends your intake form, and works with you on the table, every time.

About Your Session

My sessions draw on current research in pain science, plus a background in yoga and dance that taught me a lot about how bodies move and hold tension. I don’t follow a set routine. I listen, I ask questions, and I adjust as we go.

I promise to listen with purpose and communicate clearly. You’ll always know what I’m doing and why, and you can change anything at any time.

Who I Work With

My practice is for women and LGBTQIA+ folks of all genders. Many of my clients are new parents, people living with chronic pain, and people looking for trauma-informed care.

I also see a lot of movement practitioners, freelancers, and nine-to-fivers who need somewhere to set it all down for an hour or two.

All bodies are good bodies, and all are welcome here.

The Studio

The massage studio is located in Prospect Heights, tucked away on the first floor of a quiet building. It’s cozy and calm, with a separate waiting room and a private restroom for your use.

The massage table has removable armrests that extend its width, so there’s plenty of room to get comfortable. Just mention it on your intake form, or ask when you arrive.
