My approach: evidence-based, trauma-informed, and pain-free
Why don't I have a standard massage menu? Because effective, therapeutic massage isn't one-size-fits-all. Your body, your history, and how you're feeling today all shape what we do together.
Pain research has changed a lot in the last couple of decades, and it's changed how I work. Pain isn't just about tight muscles or "knots." It's also about how your nervous system interprets what's happening in your body. That's why I care so much about helping you feel safe and comfortable on the table. It's a big part of how this work helps.
I only share information about massage that's backed by evidence. If I don't know something, I'll tell you.
I help your nervous system settle
A lot of us live in a constant low hum of stress. Slow, attentive touch, a calm room, and the chance to stop doing for an hour can help your body shift out of that mode. Some people leave feeling deeply relaxed. Others say they feel taller, or lighter, or just more like themselves.
Pain-free, always.
Therapeutic massage can feel intense, and if that intensity feels satisfying, great. But it should never hurt. If you're wincing, holding your breath, or bracing against my hands, it's too much, and we'll adjust. Your body works with the massage when it feels safe, not when it's fighting it.

Trauma-informed in every session
You choose what we work on, how much pressure feels right, and what stays covered. You can pause, change, or stop anything, anytime, and you never have to explain why.
